Supermoon shamanic rattle with moonstone crystals

This is a shamanic rattle made from red deer rawhide and hazelwood. It was created at the time of the Harvest Full Moon, which was a supermoon. We have placed moonstone chips inside bringing with them the energy of mystery. The handle is finished with a layer of bee’s wax produced from rescued bees and some feathers.

About the making of this rattle

Our rattles are carefully crafted from materials sourced from the UK. The hazel handles are harvested from traditional coppiced woodlands in Lancashire and polished with wax from bees that have been rescued. The hides used to create the rattle heads are from red deer and horses that have roamed British meadows and moorlands. We decorate each rattle with feathers from birds we find out on our walks or lying by the side of roads. Our rabbit fur comes from the southwest of England from rabbits that have been culled through a wildlife conservation programme.
