16″ “Self Discovery” Shamanic Drum. Horse hide with Labradorite crystal handle

This 16″ Shamanic Drum is made from Horse hide, the hoop is English Ash waxed with bees wax from rescued bees, and we have set a Labradorite Crystal in the handle.

Labradorite is a stone ideally suited to heightening your intuition, and it will help you pierce the veil between the different Worlds, enabling you to bring back the information and healing which is most needed at this time. It brings forth the adventurer in you, and offers you the chance to embark on a multitude of voyages of self discovery. The tension ring is wrapped in a suede and the fluffy fabric finishes off the handle so that it is really comfortable to hold.

About the making of this drum:

We make our drums from our home on the edge of the West Pennine Moors in the northwest of England. We create the drums in sacred space each drum is birthed through ceremony, over mugwort incense.

We also take great care in the sourcing of our materials. The Red Deer hide used to make this drum is from Scotland and the timber for the Ash hoop is sourced from UK ash and is crafted by a local carpenter in Wigan. The wood has a layer of bees wax to bring out it’ natural grain. The wax is from bees which have been rescued.
