This 16″ Shamanic Drum is made from Horse hide, the hoop is English Ash waxed with bees wax from rescued bees, and we have set a Carnelian Crystal in the handle.

About the making of this drum

We make our drums from our home on the edge of the West Pennine Moors in the northwest of England. We create the drums in sacred space each drum is birthed through ceremony, over mugwort incense.

We also take great care in the sourcing of our materials. The Horse hide used to make this drum is from horses which have come to the end of their life and been put to sleep, and the timber for the Ash hoop is sourced from UK ash and is crafted by a local carpenter in Wigan. The wood has a layer of bees wax to bring out its natural grain. The wax is from bees which have been rescued.
